Some examples of our commercial lighting projects.
This fabulous design was accomplished by winding side emitting fibre optic around a framework of Perspex rods top and bottom to create many independent loops.
Each of these loops in turn is connected back to different projectors emitting different coloured light.
Due to the intricate entwining of the fibres a gentle blend of colour is achieved.
This sculpture at the entrance to a large pharmaceutical company was created by weaving the fibre into a netting formation and then strung up on stainless steel posts suspended over the water.
During daylight hours the sculpture resembles glass strands but at nightfall it comes alive with colour.
The side emitting fibre optic cable was used here to create this stunning effect of a glowing path through a pedestrian walkway.
The fibre was firstly laid on the base coat of the floor and then the clear resin poured over to comploetely encase it.
At night this creates an almost luminous glow which makes it feel as if one is floating along the walkway.
The unique fact that fibre optic cable is voltage free, has the ability to change colours at will and is virtually maintenance free were the reasons that fibre optic was chosen for this installation.
Each of the fountain heads had two fibre optic lights attached either side using a brass bracket. The fibre was then routed through the underside of the fountain to the carpark below where it was connected into the light projectors.
A subtle hue from the purple end of the visible spectrum was chosen to compliment the soft tranquility of the water feature.
